Kootr is the world's first peer-to-peer airway logistics platform—a parcel delivery app that connects people who need to send packages with air Travelers who have extra luggage space.

How is Kootr different from regular courier services?

Unlike traditional couriers, Kootr uses real Travelers already flying to your destination. That often means faster delivery (same day or next day), lower costs, and a much lower environmental impact.

Is it safe to send packages through a Traveler?

Yes. All users on Kootr are verified, and the platform includes ratings, in-app communication, and confirmation systems so every peer delivery stays safe and accountable.

Can I send a parcel by flight internationally?

Yes. Kootr works for both domestic intercity delivery and international peer-to-peer shipping, as long as a verified Traveler is heading to your destination.

How do Travelers earn money on Kootr?

Travelers list their travel itinerary on the app. When matched with a Sender, they agree on a fee to carry the item. Kootr helps Travelers earn money while traveling using their spare luggage allowance.

What types of items can I send?

Kootr supports a wide range of everyday items. The Traveler and Sender agree on the contents before delivery. Items must comply with airline regulations.

How fast is delivery through Kootr?

Delivery speed depends on flight availability, but Kootr is built for quick delivery—often same-day or one-day delivery on intercity routes when active Travelers are available.

Handover and Delivery responsibilities

Handover: it is recommended that the Sender take the item(s) to the location preferred by the Traveler to complete handover Delivery: it is recommended that the Traveler deliver the item(s) at the location preferred by the Recipient to complete delivery

Important points about 4-digit Handover and Delivery Pin

At the time of Handover: Sender must share the 4-digit Handover pin with the Traveler to confirm Handover. This 4-digit Handover Pin is shown to the Sender under the item's listing (go to ) after the Sender completes payment. At the time of Delivery: Recipient must share the 4-digit Delivery pin with the Traveler to confirm Delivery. This 4-digit Delivery Pin is shown to the Recipient under the item's listing (go to ) after the Traveler accepts handover.

Zero Tolerance and Reporting Violations

We have a zero tolerance policy towards content that is deemed unparliamentary and any listings, chat messages and users found in violation of this policy will be removed permanently immediately and in the requisite matters also reported to the appropriate authorities Users are encouraged to report such listings and any other objectionable content via the Help & Support section in your Profile.

What are the best practices for Travelers?

• At the time of accepting the handover of items, upon Sender's request, it is recommended to show your booking details in order to build trust and confidence • As a Traveler you must appreciate that the Sender is entrusting you with their valuable and emotionally important items. Therefore, it's imperative you look after the item during the journey and place them securely in your baggage to avoid any damage • It's also important that you deliver the item at the pre-agreed location, date and time • At the time of handover of the item, please make sure that you physically inspect the item(s) and are completely comfortable in delivering them. Kootr does not take any responsibility of the nature of items • Please keep your Kootr notifications on at all times

Why should I provide my PNR?

• We believe providing PNR will instantly help us verify the Traveler thereby fostering mutual trust between the Traveler, the Sender and the Recipient • Kootr does not save the PNR information and the PNR is permanently deleted once it is confirmed

What if Sender hands over an item different from the pictures uploaded by him/her?

As a Traveler you have the liberty to accept or reject the item at the time of handover by the Sender

What if the Recipient refuses to accept delivery?

Based on a review of the 3-way Kootr chat history, if it is verified that the Recipient refused to accept delivery or did not answer a Traveler's outreach, we suggest that if possible the Traveler bring back the item to the origin city and hand it back to the Sender. The Traveler will be paid the entire amount in this case.

Where do I have to deliver?

Traveler will deliver the items at a place confirmed between the Traveler and the Recipient on Kootr chat

When is the Traveler paid?

Traveler is paid after confirmation of delivery. The confirmation is done over the app.

What are the best practices for Senders?

• At the time of handover of items, please feel free to review Traveler's itinerary and confirm the date and destination • As a Sender you must ensure that you pack your items appropriately to avoid any leakage or breakage during the Traveler's journey • As soon as the Traveler accepts to deliver your item(s), please proceed to making the delivery fee payment. Making payment brings a certainty to Traveler and to you. Kootr only releases the payment to the Traveler once the item(s) are successfully delivered • Please always ensure that you provide accurate pictures and weight measures of the item • Please keep your Kootr notifications on at all times

What if the Traveler does not deliver my item(s)?

Kootr will refund the entire amount that was charged to the Sender if it is verified that the Traveler did not deliver the item.

Who will do the packaging of the items?

Sender has to ensure packaging of the items.

What if I cannot provide the exact weight of the item?

We understand providing the exact weight may not be probable at times, but Kootr provides a wide range spread of 1 kg. As a Sender please provide the best weight estimate possible and please err on the higher side of the estimate. This is to avoid an event whereby the Traveler refuses to accept the item at the time of handover, as it weighs much more than the weight indicated by the Sender.

What if the Traveler refuses to accept the item at the time of handover?

The Traveler has the liberty to refuse to accept handover of items from the Sender.

What if the Traveler refuses to come to the location provided?

We encourage you to mutually agree to a delivery location in advance over Kootr chat.

What if the item is damaged?

The Sender and the Recipient must discuss the damage and any claims with the Traveler.

What are the best practices for Recipients?

• Please provide an accurate location and maps link to the Traveler • Please ensure that you are available at the delivery location at the agreed time • Please keep your Kootr notifications on at all times

How is pricing and earning calculated?

The pricing and earning is based on the weight of the package and the source channel. We have different pricing tiers based on weight ranges and whether the booking comes through Traveler social media or other channels.

What is the difference between 'Traveler Social Media' and 'Other channels' pricing?

When a Sender books through a Traveler's shared social media link, it's categorized as 'Traveler Social Media' and offers higher earnings for the Traveler. All other bookings through the regular app flow are categorized as 'Other channels' with standard Traveler earnings.

When do I get paid as a Traveler?

Travelers are paid after successful delivery confirmation through the app. The payment is processed automatically once the Recipient confirms delivery.

Are there any additional fees or charges?

The displayed price includes all charges. There are no hidden fees. The Sender pays the full amount shown, and the Traveler receives their designated earning portion after successful delivery.

What happens to pricing if the actual weight differs from estimated weight?

It's important to provide accurate weight estimates. If the actual weight is significantly higher than estimated, the Traveler has the right to refuse the package. We recommend Senders to err on the higher side when estimating weight to avoid issues during handover.

By using this app, you acknowledge and agree that Kootr is not responsible for the pick-up, transport, delivery, condition, or security of any items exchanged between users. Any arrangements or agreements made for the transport or delivery of items are strictly between users. Kootr does not verify the reliability, trustworthiness, or ability of users to complete deliveries, nor does it guarantee the completion of any delivery. Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence and making informed decisions about who to engage with. Under no circumstances shall Kootr or its operators be held liable for any loss, damage, theft, or non-delivery of items, or for any disputes or issues that may arise between users.
