Kootr ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using our App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We may collect the following types of personal and non-personal information when you use our App:

• Mobile number
• Profile picture
• Photographs and videos uploaded/shared via the App
• PNR (Passenger Name Record) details and other travel itinerary information
• Location data (if you enable location services)

b. Non-Personal Information

• Device information (type, model, OS)
• App usage data and interaction logs
• Crash reports and diagnostics

We use the collected information to:

• Enable social sharing of travel content (photos, trips, reviews)
• Display travel itineraries and related content
• Enable location-based features
• Improve app functionality, experience, and security
• Send transactional notifications (e.g., trip reminders, account alerts)

If you choose to share your PNR details:

• We use it to extract your travel itinerary (train/flight info) from authorized public APIs or services.
• We do not store PNR beyond the duration needed to serve travel-related and item delivery-related features.
• Your PNR data is not shared publicly or with third parties not including your airline carrier.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers assisting us in running the App (e.g., hosting, analytics)
• Legal authorities when required by law or to enforce our Terms
• Other users, but only as per your sharing preferences (e.g., when you post photos, itineraries, delivery location and handover location)

Your content (like photos, delivery instructions or travel route) may be publicly visible if posted by you on public sections of the App.

Our App may contain links to third-party services or use third-party APIs (e.g., Google Maps, travel APIs). These services are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or data handling practices.

• Your data is stored securely on servers located in India via AWS (a platform owned and governed by Amazon).
• We retain your data only as long as necessary for providing services or as required by law.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).

Our App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data being collected inadvertently, we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures including secure data storage, and access controls to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure. Use the App at your own risk.

You have the right to:

• Access or correct your personal information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Disable location or camera access via your device settings
